 Electro group White Apple Tree is best known for their 2008 hit "Snowflakes," which was featured on an episode of Gossip Girl. Now the group is back with "Passed Out," a new track from their upcoming Peach Hat EP, set for release in October. "Passed Out" has the cool, atmospheric vibe of 80's new wave and 90's new age/electronic music. Listen and download the track below:

Twins Of A Gazelle: "Constellations"

This is definitely not your standard top 40 pop song. "Constellations," a new song from Washington D.C.-based band Twins of a Gazelle, combines strings, dark, melodic guitar riffs and the hushed vocals of Emily Chiminak to create what can only be described as "indie pop orchestra." The brainchild of David Mann, Twins of a Gazelle is actually a revolving band that includes dozens of musicians, but contains a core group of players that include a cello, clarinet, violin, trumpet and keyboards. Imagine hip hop beats banging alongside deep dance grooves mashed-up against corrosive samples and vocals that alternate between Beastie Boys-style raps and death metal screams.
