Washington D.C. Daddy Lion put a unique spin on the indie rock format. Whether it's the crunchy guitar attack of "Just Die Young, the gentle acoustic twang of "Morning" or the Joy Division-inspired blend of acoustics and synthesized melancholia ("Tomorrow," "Falling To Pieces"), the band creates a moody, evocative sonic landscape.
