Artist Profile: Drawn From Bees
Australian-art rockers Drawn From Bees seem to take a meticulous approach to creating their music. Piecing together different elements--a bit of echoed vocals or singing in a round with background harmonies, sneaking in somber strings, guitars sounds that veer from warbled distortion to haunting steel pedal slides, or stripping down the bridge to just a few chords--to craft a unique set of songs.
Such attention to detail shines through on tracks like "The Eastwood Fox" and "Waiting For The End," with their hypnotic swing, and the pop/rock gem "Stand Against The Storm."
