Artist Profile: A House For Lions


L.A.-based indie rockers A House For Lions weave together the worlds of art rock and alt-country with the standard rock attack of distorted guitars and driving drums. It's a curious mix that surprisingly works.

Tracks like "Let Back", are crammed to the brim with searing guitar solos and fuzzy feedback, while "Ease My Mind" and "Come On Let's Go" mine folk and country territory with plenty of steel guitar and gentle back beats that conjure images of lazy summer nights or long midnight drives.

The band's EP I Want Us To Be Remembered will be released nationally on March 1st, but is currently available for download. Listen to a few tracks below:
